$50,000 Powerball Ticket Purchased in Montgomery Center

Barre, VT – The Department of Liquor and Lottery (DLL) announced today a $50,000 winning Powerball ticket was sold at Sylvester’s Market in Montgomery, Vermont. Saturday’s winning numbers were 02-38-44-50-62. The Powerball was 19 with the PowerPlay multiplier 03.

At press time, nobody had come forward to claim the winning ticket. Andrew Collier, Deputy Commissioner for the Department of Liquor and Lottery said “It’s always great when there’s a big win in Vermont. All Vermont Lottery agents receive an extra commission for tickets sold that win $500 or more, so Sylvester’s Market will benefit, as well.”  

The Vermont Education Fund receives 100 percent of Vermont Lottery profits.
