The Vermont Lottery is dedicated to recycling. In fact, it's a top priority. That is why we started the Recycle & Win program. Instant Tickets are recycled to help keep Vermont clean and green. The Vermont Lottery encourages everyone to recycle their non-winning lottery tickets, and pick up Instant Tickets carelessly discarded on the ground and send them in. It's your chance to win prizes while helping the environment.

Every three months a drawing will be conducted for cash and merchandise prizes. The first drawing was conducted on March 5, 2003. After each drawing, all tickets are taken to a recycling plant in St. Albans, Vermont.
Any valid non-winning Vermont Lottery Instant Scratch-off Ticket (no matter how old) can be submitted for a second chance to win. All Instant Tickets must include name and address (including street or box number). Multiple tickets may be sent in one envelope and will count as multiple entries. Winners will be notified by mail.
Entrants may use a mailing label or stamp on the ticket back.
Powerball, Megabucks, Hot Lotto, Weekly Grand, Paycheck, Triple Play, Pick 3 and Pick 4 tickets are NOT eligible for these drawings. However, these tickets are recyclable, so PLEASE recycle non-winning tickets with your paper recyclables.
