$1 million Powerball® ticket purchased in Londonderry

Lucky ticket holder yet to come forward.
Vermont Lottery officials announced today that a $1 million Powerball ticket had been sold at Clark’s Quality Foods in Londonderry, Vermont. The winning ticket matched five out of five numbers, not including the Powerball. Wednesday’s winning numbers were 05, 22, 32, 38, 58; the Powerball was 26 with the PowerPlay multiplier 02. The Powerball jackpot was not hit Wednesday, allowing the Powerball jackpot to roll to an estimated $203,000,000 for this Saturday’s, August 4th drawing.

At press time, nobody had come forward to claim the winning ticket but Jeff, the store manager said, “Wow, that’s nice” and would make sure they spread the word.

Jeff Cavender, Marketing and Sales Director for the Vermont Lottery said, “it’s always thrilling when we get a notification of a big win in Vermont.”

All Vermont Lottery agents receive an extra commission for all tickets sold in their stores that win $500 or more so Clark’s Quality Foods will benefit as well.
