Choose one of the following four ways to play Powerball:

1. On a Powerball play slip mark five (5) numbers from 1 to 69 in the upper portion of the panel and mark one (1) Powerball number from 1 to 26 in the lower, yellow portion of the panel. You may play up to 5 sets of numbers on each play slip (A – E). The cost is $2.00 per play.2.

    

2. Mark the QUICK PICK (QP) box on a Powerball play slip to let the computer terminal randomly pick your numbers. You can select QUICK PICK for any or all of the 5 numbers in the upper panel and/or the 1 number in the lower panel.

    

3. Ask the clerk for Quick Pick for your Powerball numbers. You can get up to 10 plays on one ticket.

    

4. Purchase a Powerball subscription and never miss a draw or high jackpot. Powerball subscriptions can be purchased for 26, 52 and 104 draws. Pick up a Powerball subscription form at your local retailer or print one here.

    

Multiple Draws

You may play the same sets of numbers for up to 20 consecutive draws by marking the number of draws in the MULTI DRAW column on your play slip. Or, when purchasing a Powerball Quick Pick, ask the clerk for the number of draws you want to play. The cost will depend on the number of panels and draws you play and if you select the Power Play option. The maximum value of a single Vermont Powerball ticket shall not exceed $100.

Power Play^®

For an extra $1 per play, you can increase your Powerball non-jackpot winnings by 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10 times the original prize amount. Mark the POWER PLAY box on your play slip or ask the clerk to add the Power Play option. If selected, "Power Play YES" will appear on the ticket. The 10 times multiplier will be available when the jackpot is $150,000,000 or less. If you match all five numbers on a Power Play ticket, your prize will be fixed at $2,000,000 regardless of the Power Play number drawn.

Check your ticket(s) carefully. Be sure your ticket(s) accurately reflects the numbers you want to play. Your play slip does not constitute evidence of a ticket purchase or of numbers selected.

Vermont Powerball tickets may not be cancelled.

Draws are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 PM (ET) with a cutoff of 9:50 PM (ET) to purchase tickets for that evening's draw. 

Overall odds of winning a prize are approximately 1:24.9

* Power Play does not apply to the Jackpot.

* If there are multiple winners of the JACKPOT on any given drawing, the prize money will be divided equally among multiple winners. The jackpot prize shall be paid at the election of the player no later than 60 days after the player becomes entitled to the prize with either a per winner annuity or a one-time cash payment. Annuity Option winners will be paid in 30 annual installments unless otherwise indicated by the Commission.
