$25,000 a Year for Life Winning Ticket Sold in Williston

Lucky ticket holder yet to come forward
The Vermont Lottery is very happy to announce today that a Lucky for Life $25,000 per year for life winning ticket was sold at the Korner Kwik Stop in Williston. The winning ticket matched five out of five numbers, not including the Lucky Ball. Thursday’s winning numbers were 01, 14, 21, 28, 37; the Lucky Ball was 12. The guaranteed minimum annuitized payment is $500,000.
 
The winner has not come forward and may not know that they have won. If you purchased a Lucky for Life ticket at the Korner Kwik Stop be sure to check your ticket. Staff at the store were excited to sell the winning ticket and hoped the winner was a regular customer.
 
Gary Kessler, Deputy Commissioner for the Vermont Lottery said, “it is always exciting when we have a big winner from Vermont. Getting to meet the winner and providing them with their prize money is a task everyone at the lottery looks forward to.”
 
Vermont Lottery agents receive an extra commission for winning tickets sold in their stores over $500, so Korner Kwik Stop in Williston will benefit from this win as well.
 
The Vermont Education Fund receives 100% of lottery profits which in 2019 were a record $29,037,751. We ask everyone to have fun with the lottery and to play responsibly.
