 Vermont Lottery officials announced today a $3,450,000 winning Tri-State Megabucks jackpot ticket was sold in Vermont. The winning ticket is held by a Megabucks subscription holder and is the first Megabucks jackpot win in the state this year. The winning ticket matched five out of five numbers, plus the Megaball number. Wednesday’s winning numbers were 02, 04, 10, 21, 27; the Megaball number was 1. The Megabucks jackpot had been rolling allowing the estimated annuitized jackpot to reach $3,450,000 for Wednesday’s, May 13th drawing.

Grant Program Provides iPads to Vermont Schools

The Vermont Lottery and Vermont Agency of Education announce Charleston Elementary School of Charleston, Vermont, as the first winner of the Educate/Innovate Grant Program. This is the first of what is expected to be a twice-annual award.

$100,000 Winner sold at Middlebury Beef

The Vermont Lottery announced today that one top prize winning ticket worth $100,000 was sold in the Gimme 5 draw game for Wednesday’s April 8, 2015, drawing. The ticket with the winning numbers, 02-13-14-17-27, was sold at Middlebury Beef in Middlebury.

The Vermont Lottery has launched another vehicle game this time featuring Polaris® All-Terrain Vehicles. The $5 scratch ticket, called Dollars ‘N Dirt, streets Friday, April 3. The Dollars ‘N Dirt ticket features 12 instant wins of a 2015 Polaris Sportsman ® 570 SP along with a top prize of $4,444! All taxes, title and registration is included in the vehicle prizes.

The Vermont Lottery announced at mid-day that hourly sales rates for Powerball tickets have surpassed $12,000 per hour in anticipation of Wednesday night’s drawing for an estimated jackpot of $500 Million. The cash value for the Wednesday’s February 11th drawing is an estimated $337.8 Million.
